(1) The private sector that has received approval from the local authority to operate a waste management site or processing site shall act under the authority of the standards set by the local authority and the conditions of approval.

(2) If the private sector approved according to sub-rule (1) does not comply with the standards and guidelines set by the local body, the local body may cancel the approval by completing the following procedure:-

(a) Local If the body does not comply with the standards and guidelines set by the local body while monitoring the garbage management activities of the approved private sector, the private sector will be given a ninety-day deadline to make corrections,

(b) If the private sector requests an extension of time from the local body after making partial corrections according to the instructions as per clause (a), the local body can extend the time up to a maximum of sixty days,

(c) If the concerned private sector does not improve according to the instructions given by the local body within the period as per clause (a), the approval received by such private sector can be cancelled,

( d) The local body shall inform the concerned private sector and interested parties that the approval has been canceled according to clause (c). If it is found that due to the cancellation of the operating approval, the approved private sector did not work in accordance with the approval, if it is found that there is any loss or damage to anyone, then the approved private sector will have to bear such loss and damage, and if there is any amount left to be paid by the private sector to the local body, the same will be recovered by the local body. .
